Acrylic paint Yellow SPALAH 81799

The color was introduced in 1938 by directive of the Luftwaffe L.Dv. 521.

Yellow was originally used to mark fuel systems and their lines in Luftwaffe aircraft.

Since 1942, it began to be used to identify Luftwaffe aircraft on the Eastern Front (yellow lower surfaces of hoods, wingtips and fuselage stripes)

It was also used for the color marking of the 3rd, 6th and 9th squadrons of fighters and the 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th and 15th squadrons of bombers, respectively, and was used in the Reichsverteidigung (Reichsverteidigung), which was implemented in 1944.
