On January 25, 2023, the German government, led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz, announced the transfer of 14 Leopard 2A6s to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is the second modern Western MBT, after the British Challenger 2, which will enter service with the Ukrainian Tank Forces from 2023. It is expected that in February 2023, the first Ukrainian crews will begin training on the Leopard 2A6 at training bases in Germany.
The model has a traditionally high level of detail and excellent casting quality, as in other modern Rye Field Model models, without exaggeration, this is the best detailed 1/35th scale Leopard 2A6 model to date. This is the first interior model of the Leopard 2A6 in 1/35th scale with a surprisingly excellently detailed interior of the fighting compartment, engine-transmission compartment and turret. Great attention has been paid to technical inscriptions inside and outside the vehicle, and to the highways.
