The RLM 81 Braunviolet was a brown-violet version of the RLM 81, as it also existed as a green variant. It was used on the upper surfaces of Luftwaffe aircraft in the last months of World War II. Some of the most famous aircraft painted in schemes that included this color were early jet aircraft such as the Me 262 and He 162, as well as the Ta 152 among others. Designed for maximum performance with both brush and airbrush, this acrylic paint is delicately and lightly lightened for a scale-reducing effect. Soluble in water, odorless and non-toxic. Shake well before each use. Each jar includes a stainless steel stirrer for easy mixing. We recommend A.MIG-2000 acrylic solvent for proper dilution. Dries completely within 24 hours.
