Enamel paint ANA 611 Interior Green (Green) ARCUS 527 ANA 611 Interior Green Color Guide:
-ANA 611 Interior Green was introduced in 1943 in -ANA Bulletin #157 dated September 28, 1943.
-ANA 611 Interior Geen was developed to unify and standardize the various aircraft interior green colors previously used to paint US aircraft. Most were variations of green zinc chromate, and their shade varied from factory to aircraft factory.
American aircraft supplied under the Lend-Lease program to Great Britain and the USSR usually retained the original American colors of the cockpit and interior. Most aircraft delivered after 1943 had cockpits painted in ANA 611 Interior Green.
-ANA 611 Interior Green continued to be used after WWII. It was applied both to aircraft cabins and interiors. In the 1950s it was replaced by a new cabin color of FS 36231 Dark Gull Grey, while the interiors remained in ANA 611 for over 10 years when they received a new paint scheme of Insignia White FS 17875 in the 1960s
