The percentage of flat base used can be adjusted to change the level of shine produced. Generally, it is not necessary to thin Aqueous Hobby Color for brush painting, but if using an airbrush to spray Aqueous Hobby Color, thin the paint 100-150% with Mr.Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 0r T-111). ). When painting with a brush, it is usually recommended to apply 1-2 layers, and when using an airbrush - 2-3 layers. Applying a light color over a darker base may require more coats of paint.
