In English it is called "Varnish paint". However, at the same time, they can be considered as an intermediate link between enamel paints and "typical" water-based or alcohol-based acrylic paints. On the one hand, they smell less intensely than enamels (however, much more intensely than Mr. Hobby H series paints), and on the other hand, they do not show such a strong tendency to clog the airbrush as acrylic water-based paints. The presented paint is placed in a glass container with a round bottom of 10 ml, with a plastic lid. Due to the relatively large diameter of the base, it is stable on the tabletop. It will be useful for painting especially soft plastics (for example, polystyrene), as well as soft metals or some other plastics. It is primarily intended for use with an airbrush, but with proper skill and appropriate dilution, it can also be used when working with a brush. For this purpose, you can mainly use brushes with natural bristles (for example: Painta Luxus, size 2 , Pędzel kronzy z włosiem z czerwonego sobola 2/0 or 2 PREMIUM MARTA KOLINSKY ROUND BRUSH ), but you can also use synthetic bristles (for example synthetic, flat , 2 , A.MIG 8612 2/0 SYNTHETIC ROUND BRUSH or Round Brushes 2 Synthetic ). Of course, as with any other brush-on paint, it is recommended that you apply 2-3 thin coats rather than 1 thick coat. The manufacturer indicates that the desired effect when painting with a brush can be achieved after 1-2 layers, and when painting with an airbrush - after 2-3 layers. It is also worth adding that the addition of Mr. C-series hobby primers C030 Flat Base - (Flat) or C188 Flat Base Rough in a ratio of 1:10 or 1:20 can change their "coating" to a matte or semi-matte finish. However, before painting with the resulting substance, it is recommended to test it on an unnecessary piece of plastic to check the final effect. It is worth remembering that the presented paint should be mixed well before it is opened (especially the first one!) so that all its ingredients (ie mainly: pigment, binder and solvent) are combined with each other. The minimum mixing time can be taken as 30 seconds. Like many other paints, it is recommended to apply it on a dry and preferably degreased surface of the model. The chemical in question is best diluted Mr.Hobby products designed for this purpose, such as For example: T-101 Mr.Color Thinner or T-102 Mr.Color Thinner. It should be added that in the case of airbrushing, the manufacturer advises to dilute the paint 1 :1 or 2:1. You can also try using the drug Khataka. HTK-XP03 Lacquer Thinner, which has a less intense aroma. It is best to mix the paint in question and any of the solvents listed above in a paint tray (for example: Plastic Paint Mixing, Paint Pallet - Basic Type or Mr.Paint Tray 10szt.). However, after finishing painting with paint, it is recommended to wipe the lid of the container with a paper towel, rag or cotton swab to remove excess paint, and only then carefully close it.
