Standard Motor Company in Coventry (Great Britain) produced Ferguson tractors since 1946 (TE = Tractor England). In France, they were assembled by Standard Hotchkiss in Saint-Denis (TE-20 models) from 1952. 1956 was converted to an all-French design (FF30 models) until production ceased in 1958. The TE-20 is equipped with a three-cylinder point hitch engine invented by Harry Ferguson and found in every modern tractor today. Always painted gray, it was a great commercial success and was available in three widths: standard, narrow and wine.
