JU 86 E1 / E2
During the 1930s, the German aircraft industry developed civilian passenger or mail transport aircraft that could easily be scrapped and converted into military versions. Officially intended for commercial aviation, the Junkers Ju 86 was a twin-engine low-flying aircraft that, in its bomber version, was used to equip operational units of the recreated Luftwaffe. The Junkers Ju-86 was used, like the Heinkel He 111 and Dornier Do-17, as a medium-range bomber and saw action in the Spanish Civil War in 1936 under the command of the Condor Legion. Thanks to two Junkers Jumo 205 engines, the aircraft could reach a maximum speed of 300 km / h and carry a 1000 kg offensive load. The Junkers Ju-86 participated in the initial stages of the Polish campaign and was replaced by more modern and modern aircraft. In addition to the Luftwaffe, it was used by the Air Force of Sweden and Hungary.
