Model The LS was designed and put into production as the first Lexus vehicle, and work on it began in 1983 and led to several hundred designs and numerous concept car models. Four of its generations were in production. The first was produced from 1989 to 1994 and included only the LS400 model, which was offered with an 8-cylinder engine with a capacity of 245 hp. It also had a wide base equipment and was intended primarily for the US and Western European markets. The second generation was produced in 1994-2000. and was characterized, first of all, by a much more powerful engine, which had a positive effect on the dynamics of movement and performance. As before, only the LS400 model was offered. The third generation appeared in 2000 and was produced for six years - until 2006. The car had a significantly changed body design, and the number of available versions also increased, including: LS600 (a car with a hybrid drive) or LS460 (with a 380 hp engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission). Finally, in January 2017, the 4th and so far the last generation of the car was presented with versions such as: LS500, LS600h or LS460.
