Citroen Trefle (another designation: Citroen 5CV) is a French passenger car belonging to the so-called Series C, the first car of which was presented to the public in 1922. Its serial production began in the same year and lasted until 1926 - during this time, about 80,000 copies of this car were produced. It was focused on the company's factories in Paris.
Citroen Trefle was developed and put into production as a new model in the company's offer, designed to expand the commercial offer. In fact, it was a reduced and simplified version of the A and B2 models. From the very beginning, attention was paid to the minimum possible production, which led to the use of wooden elements for the manufacture of the body and body. The power plant was a small 0.8-liter engine with a capacity of 11 hp, which accelerated the 590 kg car to 60 km / h. The power unit did not have outstanding dynamics or performance, but was very economical by the standards of the time.
