Subaru Impreza is a Japanese passenger car, first presented to the public in 1992. Its serial production began a year later and continues to this day. Production is carried out mainly at factories in Ota, Japan.
The Subaru Impreza was designed and put into production to replace the Leone models in the company's lineup. Compared to its predecessor, it offered passengers much greater comfort of movement, and was also distinguished by a significantly changed, less "clumsy" design and a wider range of engines, including units with a volume of 1.5 to 2.5 liters. Subaru Impreza was offered in several body options, such as: 2- and 4-door sedan, 5-door station wagon or 5-door hatchback. The car quickly achieved significant success in the market, thanks to the successful drive units, reliability, as well as the ability to transfer the drive to all wheels, which significantly improves the traction properties of this model. It is worth noting that the Impreza models offered on the European, Japanese and American markets differ significantly - especially when comparing power units. To date, five generations of this model have been created, the last of which was presented in 2016. Subaru Impreza successfully performed and continues to participate in car races, having achieved many successes in them.
