M2 The /M3 Bradley was originally developed as a new infantry fighting vehicle for the US Army to replace the M113. It is interesting that the armor of the new BMP was not of particular importance, which led to the fact that the first serial batches had most of the aluminum body. In the late 70s, still at the test stage, the command of the US Army decided to use the M2 for the development of the M3 combat vehicle, which is very difficult to distinguish from its "relative". In the course of serial production, several modifications of M2 cars were created. The first major upgrade was the M2A1 version, which had a twin-tube TOW launcher (instead of a single one). Later, a version of the M2A2 was created, which had reinforced armor with the possibility of using dynamic protection and a new engine with a capacity of 600 hp. Finally, the last, at least for the moment, was the M2A3 version, which was even more armored and received much more advanced electronics. M2/M3 machines are completed only in Saudi Arabia and the USA. They also took part in several conflicts, primarily in Operation Desert Storm. 1990-1991.
