Mitsubishi Pajero is a Japanese SUV, first presented to the public in 1981 at the Tokyo Motor Show. Its serial production began in 1982 and continues to this day! Production was concentrated mainly in the city of Sakahoga in Japan.
Serial Mitsubishi Pajero was developed and put into production in order to expand the company's offer and strengthen its position in the SUV segment. The car did not have a direct predecessor in the Mitsubishi Motors Corporation sentence, but it adapted and developed many solutions and concepts used in cars such as the PX33, the Jeep Minica or the so-called Pajero I of 1973. Finally, from the very first serial production, the Mitsubishi Pajero has proven itself to be a very good SUV with a reliable and durable construction, good overall durability and good characteristics for this segment of cars. The high quality of the car is evidenced by the fact that its pilots won the Paris-Dakar rally 15 times! The car has four generations and is currently in production or offered only as a 3- and 5-door SUV. At the moment, the most powerful power unit installed on the Mitsubishi Pajero is a 6-cylinder engine with a capacity of 250 hp. and a volume of 3.8 l.
