The Dragon's Master series of Wing Tech 1:48 kits now includes a new 1/48 scale kit of the German Focke-Wulf Fw190 variant. It is about the Fw190 A-5 / U14 aircraft. This type was designed to mount one LT F 5b air-launched torpedo. Weapons were carried under the belly on the ETC 502 rack. To accommodate the payload and prevent it from scratching the ground, the Fw190 A-5 / U14 had a reinforced tail wheel rack. This new 1/48 scale kit is apparently based on the popular Dragon Fw190 fighter series. It does, however, come with a new tail wheel strut to suit this particular variant and also features a detailed torpedo. The details of this set are finely crafted, with carefully thought out precise panel lines. All small details inside the two-seater cabin can be easily seen through the transparent plastic lantern.
