Bloch MB.174 is a French reconnaissance and bomber aircraft with an all-metal construction, two engines, created since the beginning of the Second World War. The flight of the prototype MB.174 took place in January 1939. The plane showed good flight characteristics, but had "children's diseases", including problems with engine cooling. Mainly because of them, as well as because of irregular deliveries of Gnome-Rhone14N 48/49 engines, only 25 copies of this machine were delivered to the line units until May 1940. Another significant drawback was that the MB.174 could take only 400 kg of bombs, which also called into question its combat capability. A big advantage of the design was the high maximum ceiling. After the defeat of France, the MB.174 served mainly in the aviation of the Vysha state. Technical characteristics: Maximum speed: 529 km / h, rate of climb: 12.1 m / s, maximum ceiling 11000 m, maximum range: 1600 km, armament: fixed - 6 machine guns wz. MAC 1934 caliber 7.5 mm, suspended - up to 400 kg of bombs.
