WWII tank crew
DESCRIPTION
Adding a 4th figure and a new nationality to our popular 1/48 MM series, this build features Russian infantry complete with tank crews, ideal for display with the 1/48 T34 Russian tank to recreate Soviet tank attacks.
Suffering huge losses at the beginning of the war, the Russian army was able to stop the German advance near Moscow largely thanks to the strength of its tank troops.
After the concentrated artillery fire, the tanks advanced in three waves, the infantry rode on the tanks of the 2nd and 3rd waves. Since the Russian Ground Forces did not have armored personnel carriers of the semi-tracked and universal carrier type, so-called motorized rifle units were added to each tank brigade to support the infantry. having met the defensive
enemy position, the tankers will disembark, attack the position, and then mount again to continue the offensive. These infantrymen led many attacks and suffered heavy losses from defensive fire.
High quality, detailed 1/48 action figures with dynamic and realistic poses, such as jumping from a tank, loading and towing the Maxim machine gun.
1 set includes 13 Russian infantrymen in different uniforms and 2 tankmen.
The uniform and equipment accurately depict Russian soldiers at the end of the Second World War.
Extremely accurate sculpting depicts details such as the Maxim M1910 machine gun.
