Mercedes Benz L3000 was widely used by German troops during World War II. Together with the Opel Blitz, it became the main solution for all logistical and transport needs of the Wehrmacht. From a technical point of view, the Mercedes Benz L3000 received a rear-wheel drive solution. 4-cylinder diesel engine with a capacity of 74 hp. could develop the maximum speed of a German truck of 70 km / h. It was used on all fronts and in all operating conditions, always demonstrating good reliability and excellent stability. Even when used by the Afrika Korps in the extreme conditions of North Africa, the Mercedes Benz performed very well. It was produced in 3 versions and more than 27,000 units, becoming the most produced Mercedes truck from the late 1930s to the early 1940s.
