Information is presented on the multi-function reflective display MHUD and three color multi-function displays MHDD on the console. It is complemented by the HMS helmet-mounted presentation system. A Martin Baker Mk16A type 0-0 ejection seat was used. Since the aircraft is statically unstable, the on-board computer is directly controlled by the control surfaces and airfoil mechanization via the digital flight system. The EFA is powered by two twin-jet Eurojet EJ200 engines, each producing 60 kN of thrust and 90 kN of afterburner each. The engines have digital control.
