Bf 109 played an important role in all missions during World War II. The first flight of the prototype took place on May 28, 1935. The single-seat fighter had a DB 605 engine with a maximum power of 1,435 hp, a maximum speed of 594 km/h at an altitude of 7,400 m. The total production volume was about 35,000 pieces.
