The abbreviation GT-R has become traditional for the sports range of Nissan. The model presented at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2007 was based on two concept cars that appeared in 2001 and 2005. The new GT-R no longer had anything to do with the Skyline, being a completely different project. Powered by a 3799cc 480bhp V6, the GT-R had aggressive looks, excellent reliability and exceptional value for money.
