Model T 1913 Speedster One of the most numerous and famous cars in world history was the Model T, produced by the Ford Motor Company. It became the first production car available for the middle class. The first Model T was built on September 27, 1908. It had a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 22.5 hp. Mass production began at Ford's Highland Park, Michigan plant in early 1914. From 1908 to 1927, 1,500,7003 cars were produced. Model T cars were produced in various types, and in particular some 1913 cars were converted into speedsters.
