The Fiat 500 Topolino (owned by the mouse) is an Italian passenger car of the interwar, World War II, and early postwar era. The first copies of this machine appeared in 1936, and serial production continued in 1936-1955. During his time, about 520,000 copies of this car were produced. The drive was provided by a single engine with a volume of 0.6 liters and a power of 13 hp. The first examples of the Fiat 500 Topolino were presented in 1936 for the civilian market. The car was a two-seater with a very low curb weight (only 535 kilograms in the first batch!) and small dimensions. Acquisition and operating costs were also relatively low. Even before 1939, the license for its production was acquired by the French factories Simca and the German NSU. At the beginning of the Second World War, many of these cars were mobilized and served as staff cars for Italian and German military officers, especially during the North African campaign of 1940-1943. Serial production of the car continued until 1955, and after the Second World War two improved versions were introduced: the Fiat 500B and the Fiat 500C.
