Sd.Kfz.6 (German: Sonderkraftfahrzeug 6) is a German half-track transporter of the Second World War. The first prototypes were built in 1934, and serial production continued from 1939-1944, ending with the release of approx. 3500 copies of this car. The drive was provided by one Maybach HL 54TUKRM engine with a capacity of 100 hp. Car Sd.Kfz. 6 did not have standard armament. Design of the Sd.Kfz.6 began at Bussing-NAG in 1934, but due to continuous design improvements, it was continued until 1939, when the machine entered mass production. It was used mainly as an artillery tractor with a load capacity of up to 5 tons and was very often used to transport 105-mm light howitzers leFH18. In addition to the basic version (Sd.Kfz.6), three developments of the machine were created. The first was the Sd.Kfz.6/1 model, which was an improved artillery tractor. Then the Sd.Kfz.6 / 2 version was created, which was an anti-aircraft version armed with a 37 mm FlaK36 gun. The final version was the Sd.Kfz.6/3, a tank destroyer armed with the F-22's 76.2mm trophy gun. Cars Sd.Kfz. 6 were used on all fronts of the Second World War in 1939-1945.
