KHD A3000 The main part of the vehicle fleet of the German Wehrmacht during the Second World War consisted of 3-ton trucks. One of the most numerous of them was the KHD A3000, which was produced from 1940 at the Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz plant (before 1938 and after 1945 - Magirus) in Ulm. This truck was equipped with a 4-cyl. The Deutz Diesel engine also had four-wheel drive. KHD A3000 trucks were widely used in all branches of the German army until the end of the war everywhere - on the Soviet-German front, in North Africa, Italy, France. A total of 5,960 KHD A3000 trucks were produced in 1940-1944.
