Moskvich-401-420 Salon The Moskvich-400 passenger car was produced at the Moscow Light Vehicle Plant (ZMA) from December 1946. It was an exact copy of the pre-war 4-door Opel Kadett K38. It was replaced in 1954 by an improved Moskvich-401 model with an engine of increased power. Moskvich cars were produced in various types. The most numerous were Moskvich-401-420 cars with 4-door closed cabin bodies. A total of 216,006 saloons were produced from 1946 to 1956.
