The set includes: summers with details, 1 spring made of transparent plastic, decal, scheme for painting the model, step by step instructions. The Marder series was designed to increase the mobility of anti-tank artillery by mounting the 75mm Pak 40 gun on various self-propelled chassis. In 1942, due to the adoption of new tank destroyers armed with 75-mm Pak 40 guns, a similar machine was urgently needed for training units. The appearance of self-propelled anti-tank artillery was a logical consequence of the evolution of anti-tank tactics. A self-propelled gun has many advantages compared to a towed anti-tank gun. A self-propelled gun is much more mobile than a gun, allowing it to be skidded, which allows it to quickly change positions. It also has a shorter deployment and collapse time, which allows you to react more quickly to the enemy's advance on the battlefield. In addition, it has advantages compared to tanks. It is much cheaper than a tank, which allows you to produce self-propelled guns in large quantities. In addition, it is much simpler to manufacture, which allows for faster repair of equipment in the field.
