Sd.Kfz. 247 - German armored car and command vehicle during the Other Light War. The car is equipped with one 4-cylinder Krupp engine with a power of 65 hp. The maximum speed became up to 70 km/year, and the radius became approximately 350 kilometers. Most machines of this type are not short of standard equipment. The Sd.Kfz 247 car was built by the Krupp concern in connection with the Wehrmacht's 1936 agreement for a new command vehicle. To speed up the research and design work, the manufacturer created a new car based on the Krupp Protze 6x4 chassis and suspension. However, by installing a completely new body with armor plates up to 8 mm thick. The Sd.Kfz 247 car can be considered as a command vehicle, as well as an armored personnel carrier or artillery security vehicle.
