T-55S2 (colloquial name: "Favorite") is a Czech training vehicle designed for training tank drivers. The drive is provided by one diesel engine with a capacity of 580 liters. The car is 6.2 meters long and 3.27 meters wide. The combat weight of the machine reaches 22.9 tons. The machine does not have permanent armament. The T-55S2 "Favorite" was created taking into account the T-55A tank and was a kind of development of the T-55S1 machine. The main and auxiliary weapons were completely dismantled on the T-55S2. A completely new tower was also installed - much lower, lighter and, of course, without any reservations. The free space in the tower was used to accommodate the post of the driving instructor and the duplication of the car controls. A different type of radio station was also used for the T-55A. All these changes contributed to the fact that the mass of the car decreased significantly, and the speed increased to 72-75 km/h.
