Prefab model 1/35 Russian Heavy Tank KV-1 Model 1942 Simplified Turret Rye Field Model RM-5041 This is a die-cast plastic for a military vehicle model. The new Rye Field Model 1942 simplified turret KV-1 kit can be built with the main hatch open or closed; tracks are also mobile after assembly. Includes photoetched parts and decals for three versions. Place your order today! [Includes] : Photo-etched parts, decals for 3 versions The white box with lockable lid measures 380 x 240 x 70mm and has two colored side breaks with different markings on one side. On the other side, you can see the design options (with open or closed hatches, different support rollers, etc.) and an image of the torsion suspension. The cover shows a more colorful side view of the tank in large size. The box contains six sand yellow sprues, one clear sprue, one black vinyl sprue, a bag of 22 silver gray sprues with 9 links each, another bag of 11 silver gray sprues with chain pins, a photo-etched PCB (PE), lanyard, a small sticker sheet, and instructions for making. The sprues are flawless, the parts are free of shifts and signs of subsidence. The details are clear and well done. There are some visible extrusion marks, but they are on the inside and underside of the parts and can be mostly ignored. Only a few protruding ejector marks are annoying and should be removed anyway. The transparent die-cast part is also very clean and crystal clear. The sticker sheet is small, since there was no special marking on the Soviet tanks of that time. The decals are printed clearly and have a semi-gloss finish with a slight edge. The carrier film is pleasantly thin. There are two versions of the sticker, the instructions indicate only one from May 1942. The installation manual consists of 16 pages and starts with explanations of symbols and safety information in Chinese and English. An overview of the details is given on the next page, followed by 34 stages of construction, which repeatedly contain references to options. I find the red marks to indicate where to apply the glue helpful. Finally, there is an explanation of painting and applying decals to the car. Three more pages at the end are white. I assume I got a sample printout of the instructions here, because I suspect at least the second labeling option could be in place here. So you need to look at the box to see the second option.
