ZIL-131 KSHM Soviet military vehicle ZIL-131 was the main all-terrain truck of the Soviet Army in the 70s and 80s. Its serial production began in 1967. This truck was characterized by high reliability and passability. The base model was used mainly as a personnel carrier or a 5-ton truck. These trucks were supplied to the countries of the Warsaw Pact, as well as to many countries in Asia and Africa. From 1967 to 1990, about 1,000,000 trucks were produced at the ZIL plant. The improved ZIL-131N model was produced since 1986, and then production was transferred to the Ural Automobile Plant. There were many modifications of the ZIL-131 for the Soviet army and civilians. One of them was a team car (KSHM).
