Harbin Z-9 is a modern Chinese multi-purpose helicopter with retractable landing gear and classic propeller. but with a fenestron on the tail boom. According to estimates, there are currently more than 200 machines of this type. The Harbin Z-9 is a licensed version of the French Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin helicopter. The first serial series of this helicopter were created with significant help from France and with the use of many foreign components, but with the Z-9B version, the situation has changed quite significantly - much more elements of domestic production were used. Minor structural changes were also made, including: a changed design of the fenestron on the tail beam. During the production process, several versions of this helicopter were created, for example: Z-9B (multi-purpose version intended for the Chinese army), Z-9C (marine version intended for the Navy) or Z-9EC (marine version intended for Pakistan).
