Prefab model 1/48 BZ-42 UM 508 fuel tank

BZ-42 is a Soviet mobile tanker of the Second World War. The drive was mainly provided by one GAZ-M engine with a capacity of 50 hp. The capacity of the fuel tank was 1500 liters. The car was 5.34 meters long and 2.04 meters wide. The BZ-42 was developed as the main tanker for use in aviation regiments of the Soviet armed forces. Its main task was to significantly speed up the process of refueling aircraft at field airports - be it from a tank-tanker or barrels located on the territory of the airport. The tanker was equipped with a SKB pump coupled to a gearbox. The pump could be controlled by the driver from inside the car. BZ-42 was widely used during the German-Soviet war of 1941-1945, especially in its final period.
