"Siversky P-35" is an American fighter with a metal low wing structure, a closed cockpit and classic plumage. Serial production was carried out in 1937-1940. The prototype P-35 was a prototype marked SEV-1XP with a Wright R-1820-65 Cyclone 9 engine with a capacity of 850 hp. position. In 1936, the aircraft entered production as the P-35 with the Pratt-Whitney R-1830-9 Twin Wasp engine. A version of the P-35A with a more powerful engine and more powerful onboard weapons was created relatively quickly. It was supposed to go to Sweden, but due to an arms embargo imposed by Congress on that country, the P-35A version was sent to USSAC. Airplanes fought in the early stages of the war, especially in the Philippines.
