The production of trucks of the Ural-4320 series was started in Miass in the late 1970s. The main tasks for this car were the transportation of goods, people and towing trailers on all types of roads. The 6x6 wheel formula provided good passability on difficult roads, the strong construction and powerful diesel engine allowed transporting loads weighing up to 7 tons. Over time, the design of the truck was improved, and its improved versions are produced even now. Based on the car, a line of specialized equipment was created to perform various tasks: cars with closed bodies, mobile radio stations, radar, "Grad" rocket launcher systems, and others. To supply military units with fuel, special versions are used with a fuel tank mounted on the chassis of the base car. One of these options is ATZ-5-43203, which is used by the transport units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
