LT vz. 38 or Panzerkampfwagen 38 (t) was initially a Czechoslovak and later a German light tank during the Other World War. The first and last versions of the car were created in 1938, and serial production continued in the period 1938-1942, ending with the production of approximately 1,400 cars. The tank is equipped with one Prague EPA engine with a power of 125 hp. It is equipped with one 37.2 mm KwK 38 (t) L / 47 gun and two 7.92 mm MG 37 (t) machine guns. The CKD plant in Czechoslovakia produced the LT vz.35 1935 tank, which was sold to the Vietnamese army, and which was involved in the process of operation, but there were a number of shortcomings that did not allow success in foreign countries them. markets This is an initiative of the company CKD, which decided to develop LT vz. 38. The new car appeared to be rich in design, its predecessor, which led to the agreement of Peru, Iran, Switzerland and the Czechoslovak army. LT vz. 38 After Czechoslovakia was buried by the Third Reich, it was adopted by the Wehrmacht under the name Panzerkampfwagen 38 (t), and its production continued. The tank served in the Spring campaign of 1939, in the French campaign of 1940 and in the early period of the war with the USSR. However, in the other half of 1941, it was withdrawn from the armor due to its too weak armor and low durability before modernization. Based on the Panzerkampfwagen 38 (t) chassis, the creations of the Hetzer tanks were created.
