FW 189A-1 Focke-Wulf Fw 189A Uhu ("Owl") is a German twin-engine, twin-boom, three-seater tactical aircraft for military reconnaissance and engagement. It entered service with the Luftwaffe in 1940 and was produced until mid-1944. A total of 845 serial aircraft were produced. A night fighter based on the Focke-Wulf FW 189A-1 reconnaissance aircraft, it had an additional MG 151 gun, forward and upward firing, and a FuG 212 (radar. Used on the Eastern Front in 1943-1944).
