The Su-24 (NATO reporting name: Fencer) is a supersonic all-weather bomber developed in the Soviet Union. The aircraft has a variable-sweep wing, a twin-engine engine and two crew members side by side. It was the first aircraft in the USSR with an integrated digital navigation and attack system. It remains in service with the Russian Air Force, the Ukrainian Air Force, and the various air forces to which it was exported. Many people think that the Soviet authorities looked at the F-111 and thought, "We can do that too." This is how the Su-24 was born. The aircraft is basically capable of performing the same tasks as the F-111. However, judging by recent operations, the aircraft is being used more as a medium to high-level bomber, using both smart and dumb bombs. The Su-24MR is a special tactical reconnaissance variant. First flight on July 25, 1980 as T-6MR-26, April 13, 1983 as Su-24MR. Entered service in 1983. The Su-24MR retained much of the Su-24M's navigation suite, including the terrain surveillance radar, but removed the Orion-A attack radar, laser/television system and cannon in favor of two panoramic cameras. , the "Aist-M" television camera ("Stork"), the on-board radar station (Radar) of the side view (Radar) RDS-BO "Baynet" ("Baynet"), the infrared reconnaissance system "Zima" ("Winter"). Other sensors are supplied in the form of a container. Released in 1983-1993.
