"Martin" PBM "Mariner" (English: Martin PBM Mariner) is an American twin-engine flying boat-patrol/anti-submarine aircraft manufactured by the Glenn L. Martin Company, developed on the eve of World War II. Created to replace the Consolidated PBY Catalina, but continued to be operated in parallel throughout World War I and the initial phase of the Cold War. A total of 1,366 seaplanes were produced and used by the armed forces of various states.
