The Su-35 is a Russian twin-engine fighter-interceptor that was tested on February 19, 2008. Serial production continues until now (2013). The Su-35 is a long-range modification of the Su-27. The wings, tail, air intakes, engines and avionics have changed. In fact, the Su-35 is a completely new aircraft with significantly greater combat capabilities. Propulsion is provided by two Lulk Al-37F Saturn thrust vector engines. The resource of the airframe was also significantly increased, increasing its service life to 6,000 hours. The main element of the avionics is the H035 "Irbis-E" radar. Its range is up to 400 km and it can track 10 aircraft at the same time. The Su-35 is described by its manufacturer as a 4++ generation aircraft, inferior only to the American F-22. The machine is presented in international markets, including China and Brazil.
