Assembled model 1/72 medium tank M4(105) UM 374

The M4 Sherman, officially the medium tank, M4, was the most widely used medium tank of the United States and the Western Allies in World War II. The M4 Sherman proved to be reliable, relatively cheap to produce, and widely available. It was also the basis for several other armored fighting vehicles, including self-propelled artillery, tank destroyers and armored recovery vehicles. Tens of thousands were distributed under the Lend-Lease program to the British Commonwealth and the Soviet Union. The British named the tank after the American Civil War general William Tecumseh Sherman.
