Prefab model 1/72 transport plane Transall C-160 "Retro Brummel" Heller 80358 The Transall C-160 was a medium-range tactical transport aircraft developed in the 1960s by the German-French consortium Transporter Allianz, consisting of Nord-Aviation (wings and engine nacelles), Weserflug (fuselage, tailplane) and Hamburger Flugzeugbau. /HFB (front fuselage, rear fuselage and tail). It was used and is used by the Air Force of Germany, France and Turkey. After more than 50 years, the German Air Force retired all Transall aircraft. Not all aircraft will be disposed of, because like these "Retro Brummel" other aircraft will also end up in museums belonging to the Bundeswehr in particular. The last custom-painted C-160 Transall, registration number 50+40, of the 63rd Airlift Squadron in Hohen flew its 2021 Last Call farewell tour over Germany for six months, completing its final flight on October 20, 2021 and landing at the former military airfield Roth / Nuremberg.
