The E-7 is a long-range variant of the E-4/N, similar to the E-4 and powered by DB601N engines. Two MG-17 machine guns are mounted on the engine cowlings and two MG/FF cannons are mounted in the center wing sections. However, it can also be equipped with a 300-liter removable external fuel tank to increase range. An SC 250 bomb rack can be installed in the same location, allowing the E-7 to carry a 250-kg bomb.
