Prefab Plastic Model Spad XIII & Rickenbacker Suyata SK003 Spad XIII is a French fighter of mixed construction, mainly with wooden elements, in a biplane configuration. Its drive was provided by a single V-shaped Hispano-Suiza 8Be engine with a capacity of 235 hp. the fighter was characterized, first of all, by very good piloting qualities and great lightness. This feature was the result of the use of a V-shaped engine, which operated much smoother and more stably in the air than the rotary engines then popular. The greatest aces of French aviation, with the famous René Fonk at the helm, who is still considered the most effective Entente fighter pilot, flew on these machines. Product description:
