Scale model 1/35 Ukrainian mortar caliber 82 mm KBA-48M Box24 10035
KBA-48M is a Ukrainian 82mm caliber portable mortar, created on the basis of the Soviet 2B14 "Pidnos" mortar. The mortar is designed to destroy enemy manpower and equipment located in shelters or trenches, as well as to destroy fortifications.
The KBA-48M 82-mm mortar was developed in 1997 on the basis of the Kyiv Artillery Armament Design Bureau. This model is a modification of the Soviet 2B14 "Pidnos", which was created to suppress enemy firepower and destroy manpower. First demonstrated at the Kyiv exhibition "Arms and Security - 2013". The main feature of the KBA-48M 82-millimeter mortar is its reduced weight due to the use of titanium alloys in the design. Capable of firing mines of 81 mm caliber accepted as standard in NATO.
