Modern Luftwaffe Nitro Paint Set, Vol. 1, 8 x 17 ml, Hataka Hobby HTK-CS48

A range of specially formulated paints optimized for airbrushing. This product is designed to meet the needs of all modelers—it’s ideal for professional use (applying multiple translucent layers, gradually building up colors and shades, drawing very fine lines, etc.), but is also very forgiving for beginners. It has a significantly less pronounced odor compared to other similar products, making it more suitable for home use. All colors are highly pigmented and durable. Standard colors of German aircraft from the 1960s to the early 1980s From the 1960s to the early 1980s, the Luftwaffe used various versions of two-tone camouflage—Norm 62, Norm 72, and, finally, Norm 76, used on early “Tornado” models—consisting of basalt gray and yellow-olive colors on the upper surface. The German Naval Aviation (Marineflieger) used a variant of the Norm 76 camouflage with basalt gray on the upper surface and white aluminum or light gray on the lower surface. Early schemes also frequently incorporated high-visibility elements in “Luminous Orange.” Early fighters (the CL-13, F-84, and F-104) generally had a natural metal (aluminum) finish, with the exception of the undersides of the F-104’s wings, which were painted “Voodoo Grey.”
