Assembled model 1/400 ship Escorteurs Rapides E 52 Heller 81094

To correct the layout error seen on the "Le Corse" type "E 50" high-speed escorts, the following units, known as the "E 52" type, adopted a reversed armament configuration, which nevertheless remained unchanged, namely: three two-seat remote-controlled 57mm/60 ACAD 1951 mounts under the turrets, two 20mm Oerlikon, four triple 550mm torpedo tubes and a 375mm Bofors Mle 54 gear rocket launcher. The torpedo tubes were now on the main deck behind the funnel, and the rocket launcher was located in front of the twin 57mm forward. The DRBV 22A combined reserve radar replaced the DRBV 20A of previous installations. Units ordered in 1952 (known as E 5 to E 11) will benefit from "offshore" financing, such as DE 1007, DE 1008, DE 1009, DE 1010, DE 1011, DE 1012 and DE 1013 according to the nomenclature. US Navy.
