A model of the Airbus A350-900 passenger airliner in the livery of "Turkish Airlines" (article: 03773) from the Revell brand. This 1:144 scale kit recreates one of the world's most modern and technologically advanced wide-body aircraft (EU), which began operating for the Turkish carrier in 2020. The model consists of 120 parts and is 46.4 cm long (wingspan is 44.7 cm), featuring a detailed cockpit simulation, realistic Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engine nacelles and high-quality decals to recreate the elegant image of the fleet's flagship. Please note that this kit is intended for self-assembly: glue, paints and a brush are not included, which allows experienced modelers to achieve a high level of detail of this long-haul giant on their own.
The Airbus A350 is a long-haul, low-wing, twin-engine jet airliner, mainly of Franco-German production. It is powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines. The prototype flew in 2013, and serial production began the same year and continues to this day. By August 2017, 107 copies of this aircraft had been produced, and Airbus had collected orders for 858 A350s by that time. The Airbus A350 was created as Airbus's response to the new Boeing models: the 777 and especially the 787. The A350 was built from scratch, with new wings, new engines, a completely redesigned horizontal tail and completely new composite materials and production methods. It is estimated that all the research and development projects that led to the development of the A350 cost about 4 billion euros! The A350 is currently produced in two main versions: the A350-900 (commercial debut in 2014) and the A350-1000 (commercial debut in 2017). The former has a larger fuselage capacity but a shorter range - the latter has a longer range but a smaller capacity.
