Assembly model 1:700 German Zerstorer Z-28 (1945) Trumpeter 05790

The German destroyer Z-28, a Zerstörer 1936A, was assigned to the role of flotilla leader and saw action in the Baltic Sea and off the coast of Norway. In early 1945, after repairs due to damage from aerial bombs, her armament consisted of four 150 mm guns, 37 mm and 20 mm anti-aircraft guns, and torpedo tubes. However, her combat career in 1945 was short, as Z-28 was sunk by British bombers off the coast of Sassnitz in the Baltic Sea on 6 March 1945.
