Humber Armoured Car Mk.IV is the last and most massive modification of the British all-wheel drive armored car of the Second World War, which was actively used for reconnaissance. The main difference of this version was the replacement of the 15-mm machine gun with the American 37-mm M6 cannon, which was installed in the turret together with a coaxial 7.92-mm BESA machine gun. Due to the increased dimensions of the gun, the total crew of the car had to be reduced to three people. The car weighing about 7 tons had a frontal reservation of up to 29 mm and was equipped with a Rootes engine, which allowed it to reach speeds of up to 72–80 km/h on the highway, making it a fast and effective combat unit during the Allied campaigns in North-West Europe, Italy and Burma.
