Assembled model 1:72 reconnaissance vehicle Fv107 Scimitar Mark 2 Fore Art 2001

The FV107 Scimitar Mark 2 is a heavily upgraded version of the British CVR(T) tracked reconnaissance vehicle, which entered service in 2011 for operations in Afghanistan. The main changes were the conversion of the hull to an armored aluminum-titanium alloy from the Spartan armored vehicle and the installation of a V-shaped bottom for protection against improvised explosive devices and mines. The vehicle received bulletproof lattice screens (EFP protection), a suspended seat, a reinforced Cummins 5.9L diesel engine and improved suspension, while retaining the 30 mm RARDEN automatic cannon and high mobility.
